Lalgarh is a perfect example of how a failed state would look like.The state government impaired itself by taking circumspect steps against the surging maoists. Having said that, central government's move to ban maoists was commendable.

I hope WB govt has learnt a lesson and make amends in the way they tackle this persistent problem of maoist violence
